The CV generator scores its own output with exactly the same rubric, so the before and after numbers are directly comparable, not two different rulers.
A weak draft is not handed to you as is. It goes back through a repair pass with the score feedback attached, and the final score you see is the real one. If a rewrite cannot beat your original, we show you that too, rather than dressing it up.
Templates
Twelve designs that survive parsers and editing.
Every template keeps to a deliberate design vocabulary: clean columns, rules, restrained color, and real typography. Nothing that confuses an ATS parser, and nothing that falls apart when you edit the DOCX in Word. Each design ships as a matched pair, so the DOCX you edit looks like the PDF you send.
Three of the twelve designs are included on the Basic plan, and all twelve are available on Premium. You can generate the same CV again in a different template; each generation uses one unit of your quota.

Is the generated CV ATS friendly?
Yes. Every template avoids the layouts that break resume parsers, such as text trapped in graphics or unusual section structures, and every generated CV is scored against an ATS rubric before you download it. It is the same rubric that powers Upleva Insights reports.
Will it invent experience I don't have?
Never. The rewrite can rephrase, reorder, and tighten what your CV already says, and align wording with a job description you paste. It cannot add employers, job titles, dates, credentials, or metrics that are not in your source CV.
Can I edit the CV after it's generated?
Yes, on your own machine. Every generation includes a DOCX that mirrors the PDF's design and opens cleanly in Word and Google Docs. There is no in-app editor: you download the file, edit it locally, and keep full control of it. Generating a fresh version on Upleva uses one generation from your quota.
Can I tailor it to a specific job?
Yes. Set a target role and paste the job description, and the rewrite weaves the relevant keywords in where your experience genuinely supports them. Each tailored version is saved as its own CV, labeled with the role it targets, so you can keep a separate version per application.
Is a cover letter included?
Yes, as an option. Tick the cover letter box before generating and you also get a matching cover letter as its own PDF and DOCX, written from the same CV and job description. It is part of the same generation, so it does not use a second unit of your quota.
How many CVs can I generate?
The Basic plan includes 10 CV generations each billing cycle and the Premium plan includes 25. Every generation counts as one, with or without a cover letter, and your quota replenishes on your billing anniversary.
What file formats do I get?
Both, every time: a polished PDF that renders the template exactly, and an editable DOCX that mirrors the same design. The two downloads read as the same document, so you can send the PDF and keep the DOCX as your working copy.
What happens to my CV and my data?
Your uploads and generated files are stored on encrypted servers and are never shared without your consent. You can delete any generated CV from your profile, and deleting your account removes your documents and generated files with it.
